Dear Readers,
I've noticed many polish and beauty bloggers wear pink on Wednesdays, so I thought I'd post my pink manicure today for you to enjoy as well.
I stamped a design from one of my new Bundle Monster plates (BM-203) over China Glaze "Pink Voltage (neon)". I used Konad Special black which always produces a crisp dark design. I think it looks cool, but the dark overall design really covered the beautiful colour and made my nails look almost purple from a distance.
So when my mani chipped, I took it off and reapplied "Pink Voltage" to enjoy just on its own. This is what I am wearing today.
This is a great colour by one of my favorite brands - China Glaze. "Pink Voltage" has an awesome blue flash you can see especially in the sun. And luckily I had lots of sun today! It applies thin - I used three coats - but it dries quickly and leave no VNL. It does dry matte, but with a coat of Seche Vite QD topcoat, it really sparkles and comes alive!
I have "Pink Voltage" on my toes too, and I love it for a summer pedicure!'
I know this isn't a new colour, but I have never used it before, and I'm really loving it, so I hope you love it too. Have you used this polish before?
Have a great day, everyone. And remember to leave me your feedback. :-)

Wow, what a treat, two pink mani's! They both look beautiful. I don't own and have never used Pink Voltage but I do have a very similar colour that has the blue flash you mentioned and it's stunning. Your nails look like they are glowing. :)
ReplyDeleteI have never worn that color! I only have a few older CG polishes and they were fairly sheer, so I have steered away from them. I love the color!
ReplyDeleteGreat stamping. Pink voltage by itself kinda hurts my eyes.
ReplyDelete@ A Polished Touch - glowing nails...cool!
ReplyDelete@ Gottwinkies - yeah, the colour is wicked, but it seems to be chipping quickly.
@ Cat - sorry...I didn't mean to burn your retinas...hahahah!
You've reminded me why I should've gotten Konad a long time ago! Thanks! : )
ReplyDelete@ Lady - yeah, nail stamping is lots of fun! When I don't stamp my nails, everyone who knows me notices and asks why I haven't done a "fancy" manicure!
ReplyDeleteReally nice blog! :)
ReplyDeleteI bought from bundlemonster also, have so many plates it's hard to choose. Thank you for the inspiration!
I love the pink with/without the stamping done. This is super exciting because it was posted on my birthday, so I'm going to take this as a sign that my bf needs to buy me that pink&topcoat for my upcoming birthday!
ReplyDeleteQ: Was it hard to get used to the konad stamping kit? I'd love to buy one, but I want to get more feedback on it before I make a big purchase.
:)
Ps, you have very pretty nails.
