"Designer Satin" Konadi

Okay, so nobody commented on my yellow disaster from last post. That bad, eh?!

Well, here's what I did later that night when I took off the mess I'd made....

Ah...much better!  This is China Glaze's "Designer Satin" which is an older colour, but I just got it from 8ty8beauty.com.  I really like this deep raspberry creme colour for fall.

I stamped this pattern from IP m76 across the middle of each nail.  I used Konad Special White, which always makes a very crisp, clean image.

Today I peeled a bunch of apples to bake an apple crisp, and luckily my manicure escaped without harm.  Gotta love Seche Vite topcoat! Keeps it shiny and nick-free, and dries super fast without smudging the stamping at all.

Hope you all are having a great weekend.  Please leave me a comment, because I love reading your feedback!

Beads & Bows - Konad m76 & m77

Barry M "Mint Green" (2 coats)
Konad designs in Special White

For this konadicure, I used Barry M's "Mint Green" which is a great polish that fits with the pastel trend many polish brands are showing this spring.  (Notice the Barry M green glitter dust in my hand?)

Then I used two designs, one from m76 and the other from m77, since they both featured bows.  I added three little glass balls in the centre of the bows. I found these in the dollar store. I guess they weren't really meant for manicures, because after I applied topcoat to the tiny green beads, the colour seemed to melt off.

I wore this to work today and got a few compliments.  Isn't it fun when people notice your little masterpieces?

I hope you have a great week and that you enjoy this konadicure.  Let me know what you think of it...

Spring Butterflies - Konad m76 & m79

Nina Ultra Pro "Mermaid" (3 coats)
Konad m76 and m79 in Special White and Green

For this konadicure I wanted to use designs from my new plates. I used 3 thin coats of "Mermaid" to get it opaque and then I put a Seche Vite topcoat to dry it quickly.

Then I decided to layer two patterns.  The background is the lattice pattern from m79 in Special White. Over that I randomly placed the butterfly image from m76 in Special Green.  I think it might have looked better if I placed the butterfly in the same position on each nail, but, oh well....too late now!

Hope you enjoy these pics.  Please leave me some feedback, and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
