Layered Green Konadicure

To make up for my Konad-less manicure in "Royal Navy" from last week, I did a pretty busy, layered konadicure last night.

For the base colour, I used SH "Grass Slipper", which I have posted as a plain manicure before. I used Konad Special Green and Special White to stamp the argyle, plaid and flower designs from m60 and the flower with the curly stem from m77.

I did the pinky first, but didn't like how the white plaid lightened the overall look, so I did the overall pattern on the ring finger in green, with white flowers on top. I like that pattern better. I alternated the designs on every other finger across both hands.

So, let me know which design you like better...or is this konadicure too busy for you altogether? ha ha ha...

Beads & Bows - Konad m76 & m77

Barry M "Mint Green" (2 coats)
Konad designs in Special White

For this konadicure, I used Barry M's "Mint Green" which is a great polish that fits with the pastel trend many polish brands are showing this spring.  (Notice the Barry M green glitter dust in my hand?)

Then I used two designs, one from m76 and the other from m77, since they both featured bows.  I added three little glass balls in the centre of the bows. I found these in the dollar store. I guess they weren't really meant for manicures, because after I applied topcoat to the tiny green beads, the colour seemed to melt off.

I wore this to work today and got a few compliments.  Isn't it fun when people notice your little masterpieces?

I hope you have a great week and that you enjoy this konadicure.  Let me know what you think of it...

Grassy Green Konadicure - m77

"Grass Slipper"- Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure
Konad m77 in Special Black
Orly Gold Prisma Gloss - glitter over mid-section
Seche Vite t.c. / Orly Bonder b.c.

I found the design didn't quite fill up my thumb so I added some flowers
(can't remember which plate they are from) on the side of each thumb.
See the detail shot below.

I know I used this colour recently, but when I used it last, I didn't get around to stamping any designs on it, so I wanted to give it another go.  I also chose this colour because I was going out of town, and, believe it or not, this colour actually matched all the clothes I was packing.  Why do I have so much slime green clothing???? I don't know.

Konad New Plates!

Designs from Konad IP m77 in Special White
One Coat Finger Paints "Tangerine Tint"
One Coat China Glaze "Bare if you Dare"
Sally Hansen (glitter) "Encore"

Yay!  My new plates arrived from OCnailart.  I didn't want to do a new konadicure until I got these plates, so when they arrived, I jumped right on it!  The only problem was, I had too many choices, and it took forever to decide which plate and which pattern to use first.

Unfortunately, I did this late at night and woke up to find one smushed nail.  DRAT!  Also, I'm not totally sure I like the colour I ended up using as the base, but I love these gems and pearl strands! After all, your nails are jewels - not tools! Ha, ha, ha....

Hope you enjoy this new design...I'll be doing more from the new patterns soon.

Please leave me some feedback - I love your comments!
